lululemon names local athletes as HK ambassadors to promote wellbeing

lululemon has appointed four local athletes as its Hong Kong ambassadors to inspire consumers to prioritise their social, physical and mental wellbeing, as well as exploring possibilities through movement.

The four ambassadors include professional rugby player Cado Lee (pictured left), professional swimmer Camille Cheng (pictured second left), professional fencer Ryan Choi  (pictured second right) and Hong Kong’s top tennis player Eudice Chong (pictured right).

lululemon’s ambassadorship with the local athletes demonstrates the brand's commitment to the Hong Kong market. The four athletes not only excel in their respective fields but also embody the true spirit of perseverance. Their confidence, fierce ambition, and positive approach to wellbeing will inspire guests to find joy in movement, said the release.

While Lee will work with lululemon to encourage guests to focus on self-care and take care of one’s wellbeing while pushing for success, Cheng hopes to create an encouraging community with lululemon where guests can support each other in their journey, be it physical or mental, according to their official Instagram.

On the other hand, Choi hopes to invite guests to connect with each other, garner deeper connections and inspire progress through the partnership with lululemon. As Hong Kong's top-ranked professional tennis player, Chong sees community as an important aspect for athletes as well as individuals. She hopes to encourage guests to take care of their body physically and mentally, finding the balance between sports and life beyond that.

Under the partnership, the four ambassadors will work closely with the brand to test its products and provide valuable insights that will inform the brand’s future design and development across all product categories. lululemon will also provide support for the athletes both on and off their respective fields. Leveraging their influence and connections within the communities, lululemon aims to inspire more guests to practice movement and mindfulness.
