The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is on the lookout for a social media agency to provide social media management services on its social media platforms. According to Gebiz, the appointment will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for another year after.

In a tender document seen by Marketing, the appointed agency will be responsible for strategic social media engagement and performance measurement for the LTA’s social media campaigns and assets, creative digital content production and marketing, influencer and content publisher engagement, contest management and content archival.

The appointed agency will be tasked to host various types of land transport-relevant content for LTA’s "We Keep Your World Moving" Facebook page. These include announcements, editorial and lifestyle content, and the sharing of trending digital assets.

For LTA’s Twitter platform, the agency will be tasked to disseminate fast alerts and the latest land transport announcements for LTA’s Twitter platform, as well as host lifestyle-themed, multimedia-rich content. The agency will also have to share captivating multimedia visuals and insightful brand stories/moments for LTA’s Instagram platform, as well as host engaging educational and publicity videos produced by LTA on its YouTube channel.

The objectives of the agency should be to help LTA enhance its social media presence, boost understanding of its initiatives and key messages, and deepen engagement with netizens. The appointed agency is to keep a constant watch on the latest social media trends and report relevant insights and establish partnerships with suitable social media influencers and online content publishers. It will also be responsible for conceptualising and developing interesting multimedia content and contests.

In its most recent initiative, LTA invited local artists to turn Punggol station into art showcase, where artists were encouraged to send in their portfolios and if shortlisted, will be invited to propose original art concepts to be developed and integrated with the station.
