Low Bee Yin, ADA's country director in Malaysia, is stepping down from her role close to three years after she joined in 2020 as GM. She will be succeeded by GM Melissa Cheng (pictured right), who joined in 2019 as director, client leadership. ADA told A+M that it strongly believes in giving opportunities to progress internal talents for leadership roles. Cheng reports to COO Anurag Gupta.

According to Low's LinkedIn, she led a team of more than 70 individuals across marketing services, business insights, martech, eCommerce enablement, and digital distribution practices. During her time with ADA, the company said Low led the business to a strong year-on-year growth with multiple key client wins.

"An ambassador of progressive work culture, Low had also built strong teams across all business units. Low is looking forward to her retirement and we wish her the best, ADA said.

Before ADA, Low (pictured left) was the commercial and marketing director at Courts Malaysia where she was responsible for marketing, merchandise planning and buying, credit sales, and value-added services.

Low also has experience in the agency field, having worked as client service director and head of digital at M&C Saatchi Malaysia and account director at Lowe & Partners Malaysia. Over the course of her career, she led and managed a variety of major brands in the FMCG, telco, and financial services industries such as Unilever, Pepsico, Maxis, Celcom, Axiata, and HSBC, among others.
