Louis Vuitton will present its first-ever runway show in Hong Kong next Thursday (30 November), revealing its creative director Pharrell Williams' second men's collection, following the success of the menswear Spring Summer 2024 collection at Paris Fashion Week in June.
This event will take place at the iconic Avenue of Stars with support from K11 MUSEA, both integral parts of K11 Group's marquee mega development project K11 Victoria Dockside, showcasing Williams' second collection as he infuses the Pre-Fall 2024 collection with his creative vision and signature style, further enriching the vibrant tapestry of Hong Kong's fashion landscape.
By transforming the K11 Victoria Dockside into a star-studded Louis Vuitton fashion runway featuring high-profile celebrities and A-listers in the global fashion world, the event aims to further solidify Hong Kong's reputation as a thriving economic and cultural hub, and to assert its position as one of the world's foremost fashion capitals.
According to the company, the Avenue of Stars was chosen to host the event as the company saw it as a must-visit landmark for both local and international travellers that commemorates the city's iconic stars. It also saw K11 MUSEA as a “Silicon Valley of Culture” that will provide an exceptional platform to showcase the epitome of global fashion, luxury, art and culture.
To engage a wider audience, the grand fashion extravaganza will be livestreamed on the outdoor screen of K11 MUSEA, as well as worldwide via the Louis Vuitton’s social media platforms.
Adrian Cheng, CEO of New World Development and founder of K11 Group, said, "I am honoured that K11 Victoria Dockside has been selected as the grand stage for Louis Vuitton's inaugural fashion show in Hong Kong. This highly anticipated event will undoubtedly elevate Hong Kong's stature as a thriving nexus of local and international art and culture. It is just the dawn of a remarkable journey, and I look forward to introducing a diverse array of globally acclaimed cultural spectacles in the future, to facilitate the development of Hong Kong as an international arts and cultural metropolis."
Cheng also plans to introduce an extensive variety of international cultural events to Hong Kong in the future, further cementing the city’s development as an international arts and cultural metropolis.

This isn't the first mega event that has taken place at K11 MUSEA and K11 Victoria Dockside. Most recently, K11 MUSEA presented the art exhibition "City As Studio", curated by American art curator Jeffrey Deitch, that showcased the breadth and depth of graffiti and street art across generations.
Last year, the METAVISION NFT exhibition was hosted at K11 MUSEA and K11 Victoria Dockside, underscoring Hong Kong's diversity and innovation in the digital art world. Back in 2021, K11 NIGHT also celebrated "Savoir-Faire: The Mastery of Craft in Fashion," an exhibition co-curated by Carine Roitfeld and Cheng examining the exceptional craftsmanship behind haute couture.
