Home interior company Livspace has hired Niveditha Narayan as head of brand marketing, Singapore. In her new role, Narayan (pictured) is helping to build the brand, increase awareness and lead the APAC marketing function overall. She reports into CMO Kartikeya Bhandari.
She currently leads a team of three in the region and told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that she aims to tell a powerful and memorable brand story that generates awareness to the level needed to drive 10 times business growth. "
"I want to be part of a team and time where the organisation is hungry for growth. Singapore is now at the time where the brand story is at a nascent stage and it opens up so much scope for us to shape the APAC brand identity from scratch," she added.
She was previously retail marketing manager at Circles.Life where she supported and reported to the Australian growth team. The telco's spokesperson told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE: "As Circles.Life continues to double down on growth, we are pleased to acquire new, top talent that is core to helping us as a company continuously push barriers and drive innovation while putting our customer needs first."
Narayan was with Circles.Life for close to two years and prior to that, handled sales and business development for the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW Sydney. She was also a strategy consultant at MAC Cosmetics and worked at P&G for four years as senior associate brand manager.
Her move comes amidst a recent leadership shuffle at Circles.Life's marketing team which saw the telco appointing Nelson Allen to the newly created role of VP of growth for its consumer business. Allen now leads growth for Circles.Life’s B2C operations as well as the regional marketing function, including brand development, customer acquisition and strategic partnerships, with a focus on accelerating the company’s global expansion plans.
Meanwhile, Delbert Ty also left the telco after spending more than five years as head of marketing. He is now in an advisory position with Circles.Life. The telco also saw Megan Yulga step down from her role as head of creative shop mid last year to join mobile Saas platform Tigerhall as head of marketing.
Circles.Life told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE previously that it plans to grow its global team of over 500 employees across Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan.
