LG MY and Love, Bonito MY hand PR duties to SLPR Worldwide

LG Electronics Malaysia (LG) and Love Bonito Malaysia have appointed PR and digital communications agency SLPR Worldwide to handle its PR duties. The appointment will last one year with the possibility of an extension, said SLPR when MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reached out.
As a renowned Korean consumer electronics brand, LG Electronics Malaysia has entrusted SLPR Worldwide with their PR responsibilities effective immediately. SLPR Worldwide's expertise will elevate LG's brand presence in Malaysia, showcasing product innovation that aims to enhances customers' lives and that positions them as the leading choice for consumer electronics.
In tandem, SLPR Worldwide has also been selected as the PR agency of record for Love Bonito Malaysia, a prominent women’s fashion brand in the region.

Senior partner and group chief operating officer of SLPR Worldwide Southeast Asia, Leon Tang, expressed his enthusiasm for both partnerships said that these brands are individually recognised as industry leaders within their respective sectors. “We are glad to be chosen as their trusted PR partner. These collaborations underscore SLPR World wide’s PR and digital prowess, and our commitment to driving success for our clients across the region."
Since it's appointment, SLPR has worked on campaigns surrounding LG's 10th anniversary and Love, Bonito's 13th anniversary, mainly focusing on devising strategies that capture all brands' essence and that address the target market.
"Our strategic acquisitions will propel us as an omnichannel powerhouse, amplifying our strengths and capabilities to better serve clients across industries within SEA," Tang stated.
Tang added that the brands' vision aligned with SLPR Worldwide's. "Just as LG is driven by its commitment to enriching consumers' lives through innovative products and services, SLPR is guided by a similar ethos: to enhance our clients' endeavours by delivering value creation services. Aligning with Love, Bonito's visionary pursuit to empower women with a curated array of clothing tailored for the Asian fit, our commitment translated into detailed efforts to capture the brand’s essence while crafting a narrative that resonated authentically within the cultural tapestry of the region," he explained.
With these client wins, SLPR Worldwide aims to continue actively pursuing collaborations with tech and retail giants to further expand its client base in Q3 2023.
Earlier this year in May, Tyre manufacturer, Goodyear Malaysia appointed SLPR Worldwide as its public relations and digital communications agency to spearhead its PR duties in Malaysia. The agency was tasked to elevate Goodyear's reputation as the premium tyre brand in Malaysia, greater stability and safety on the road.
Goodyear Malaysia's tyre innovation will be communicated through various media channels, including digital and traditional platforms. The campaign aims to reinforce the brand's commitment to safety and reliability on the road and its status as the leading premium tyre brand in Malaysia.
