Danish toy maker LEGO has appointed Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong to handle the digital remit of its summer campaign spanning Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Aiming at encouraging children to step into meaningful play by developing their creativity, the campaign “Level Up Your Imagination” is the company's largest activation this year. As part of the campaign, Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong has created a mobile website to engage customers.

In addition to the site, the agency is also responsible for curating social media content for LEGO, integrating with LEGO's larger in-market activation strategy.

“Our relationship with Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong over the years has given us the confidence to entrust our biggest campaign of the year to them. Our shared ambition is to reach out to more local kids, bringing them truly rewarding and stimulating play experiences that inspires their creativity and imagination,” said Candice Wong, digital marketing and e-commerce manager of LEGO Hong Kong & Taiwan.

Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong is currently LEGO’s social media agency in Hong Kong and supported the brand in previous campaigns such as "Brick at Home" and "LEGO Vehicles."

“It’s incredibly rewarding to partner with one of the world’s most iconic brands, and to help take LEGO into the hands of children across Hong Kong who will treasure their experience of play and discovery,” said Matthew Parry, managing director of Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong.
