Lazada has transformed Kuala Lampur’s Jalan Bukit Bintang into a fashion runway for its exclusive fashion show, "Koleksi Raya LazLook". This was the answer to fashion being one of the most popular search categories on Lazada Malaysia on its 11th birthday sale across Southeast Asia.

When it comes to browsing and searching for fashion items, the eCommerce marketplace is primarily the preferred platform in Malaysia, as more than half of consumers (53%) use it to find the right products, with prices (74%), discount offers (69%), and reviews (47%) being some of the most key considerations for purchase.

Moreover, with Hari Raya around the corner, the show features festive collections from over 10 renowned homegrown fashion brands gives Malaysians the opportunity to discover new inspirations for the upcoming festive season.

The brands include Naelofar, Rico Rinaldi, Petit Moi, Poplook, Cynthia Tang, Zucca, Gene Martino, Zoe Arissa, Bayu Somerset, and TATO Shop. Turning heads at the country's busiest crosswalk, the entire event was livestreamed on LazLive and casted across Lazada Malaysia's social media channels.

Pedestrians along Jalan Bukit Bintang were also able to catch the livestream on the various digital out-of-home LED screens along the road including CuBIG billboards and The Cube @ Bukit Bintang.

Alan Chan, CEO of Lazada Malaysia said that Malaysians today are utilising both online platforms and brick-and-mortar stores, especially as eCommerce is becoming the preferred platform for product search and discovery. “We are extremely honoured to collaborate with these renowned designers and homegrown brands, co-creating this one-of-a-kind Koleksi Raya LazLook fashion walk – bringing splendour to Bukit Bintang, whilst engaging consumers in a glamourous and unexpected way,” he added.
