Lazada Malaysia concludes PR pitch ahead of 11.11 and 12.12

Lazada Malaysia has appointed Be Strategic to handle PR duties, including the execution of its PR campaigns.?This news comes ahead of Lazada's annual 11.11 and 12.12 shopping festivals which reaffirm its commitment to continuously reinvent the way consumers shop and the way merchants carry out their business.

According to Lazada, it appointed Be Strategic for its proven track record and innovative solutions.?A+M understands that Milk PR and Ogilvy Malaysia were also shortlisted for the account. The eCommerce company had called for the pitch in September.

Chief strategist of Be Strategic, Ashvin Anamalai, said the company is?honoured to have been appointed by the prominent eCommerce pioneer in Malaysia.

?This is an important achievement for us as it reflects on our expertise and capabilities in strategic and creative solutions in delivering value to Lazada Malaysia," he said.

Anamalai added that his team consists of skilled?and experienced specialists who are well-versed in creative strategies, and this is essential in the fast-paced world of eCommerce ? to cut through the noise and continue to create moments that are relevant and conversation-worthy.

"We are optimistic that our efforts will contribute towards the company?s mission to serve the needs of an increasingly digital society, and solidify an on-going partnership with Lazada Malaysia,? he added.

Last month, Lazada Group partnered with Citi to launch the new?Lazada Citi credit card, targeting over 500,000 sign-ups of the new card across the region over the next few years. The card was first launched in Malaysia and will be introduced to other markets in the region over the next six months.

Meanwhile, the appointment by Lazada comes after integrated township Proton City Development Corporation named Be Strategic its creative consultant to undertake its positioning initiatives and creative strategies. The agency was appointed based on its proven track record of offering resourceful and strategic solutions to its clients. Among the list of clients Be Strategic works with include?Castrol Malaysia, Quill Automobiles, UMW Development, Bloomberg and Gamuda Land.
