L'Oreal's Kérastase taps Euphoria star as global brand ambassador

L’Oréal’s hair and scalp care line, Kérastase, has named Sydney Sweeney as its newest global brand ambassador, according to a statement by the brand.

Well-known for her performance in teen drama television series Euphoria, Sweeney has gained international fame from her role as Cassie.

According to the brand, Sweeney was chosen as a result of her talent and passion, which has made her an international icon of femininity and placed her at the forefront of popular culture.

“It’s so immense for me to partner with such an iconic brand. For me there is something in beauty about being creative, being myself and being a strong believer in my actions,” said Sweeney on her appointment.

She continued by adding that she cannot wait to showcase what she has been working on with the brand and commented that it is “très très chic”.

“I was drawn to Sweeney’s warmth and magnetism both on and off-screen, to me she is truly fearless. She speaks to her communities with passion, focus and a sense of humour that makes you feel like you instantly know her. This is the Kérastase woman, said” Rosa Carriço, global brand president Kérastase.

Sweeney is not the only celebrity that has made waves with an ambassador appointment this year. Recently, Calvin Klein’s partnership with Jeremy Allen White, turned virtual heads. 

In the campaign film, the 32-year-old actor was seen climbing stairs to the rooftop of a building in downtown New York in a white singlet and black active shorts before stripping down to the brand’s iconic and logo-emblazoned cotton underwear. In the ad, White stretches and flexes his muscles, staring intensely into the camera before lying down on a sofa, tired.
