The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) will reportedly strive to maintain the stability of the Indonesian business and economy.
Kadin chairman Arsjad Rasjid reportedly said that all regional chambers throughout Indonesia will continue to work together to meet common interests.
Arsjad invited all members and administrators of Kadin to remain solid and upright and to uphold the rules for the progress of the organisation, reported Antara.

He also reportedly encouraged all members and administrators to carry out the organisation's programs and emphasised that the members of Kadin would continue to serve as a forum for the business world, as well as adhere to the Articles of Association/Bylaws.
Furthermore, Arsjad reportedly added that Kadin is faced with the task of pursuing an economic growth target of 8%.
In addition, Arsjad reportedly said that Kadin will take action against parties who violate the Articles of Association/Bylaws.
This is to ensure that Kadin remains solid as a home for all entrepreneurs from micro, small, medium and large enterprises and professionals, he reportedly added.
This comes as the advisory council and some of Kadin administrators appointed Anindya Bakrie as a newly elected chairman for 2024 to 2029 to replace Arsjad, sparking immediate opposition from Arsjad, reported Jakarta Globe.
The appointment reportedly came from an "Extraordinary National Congress" held in Jakarta earlier this month where representatives from 28 of Kadin's 38 provincial chapters were in attendance.
Deputy general chairperson coordinator for organisation, law, and communication of Kadin, Yukki Nugrahawan Hanafi, reportedly said that the Extraordinary National Conference held illegally and has disturbed the harmony of the organisation as a strategic partner of the government in building an inclusive and sustainable economy.
Meanwhile, deputy chairperson for law and human rights of Kadin Dhaniswara K. Harjono reportedly said that there was no evidence indicating a violation to the Articles of Association.
