Yakult Singapore has partnered with ADK Singapore to introduce Joseph Schooling in its "Billions Strong" campaign. The campaign aims to offer a rare glimpse of Schooling's journey before he emerged under the spotlight. The campaign will be launched on 6 September with a film that will air on Channel 5, Channel 8, Channel U as well as on YouTube and Facebook. It will also be supported with press, social, and in-store marketing. The film showcases Schooling's journey towards being a national swimmer and how he has been consuming the Yakult drink since he was young.According to a statement, Yakult is a strong supporter of the Schooling family since the earlier days, as well as of the Singapore Swimming Association. Furthermore, the statement claims Joseph Schooling's mother, May Schooling, has been engaging Yakult home delivery service since Schooling was a little boy, and still takes Yakult today as part of his daily regimen to help maintain a healthy digestive system."Schooling is a talented, hardworking, and remarkable athlete. I believe nothing is greater than the support of his family and the people around him. In regards to that, we're very honoured that Yakult has always been there for him, to be part of his journey," Kiyotaka Sakurai, managing director of Yakult Singapore said.Earlier this year, Schooling was picked as Yakult's brand ambassador until 2020. The partnership will see Schooling and Yakult working together to promote the health benefits of probiotics, and to inspire the community to strive towards excellence through a healthy lifestyle.Read also: Joseph Schooling drives off with Toyota ambassadorship Canon snaps up Joseph Schooling as brand ambassador Joseph Schooling fronts Hugo Boss’ new campaign ONE Championship taps in Joseph Schooling to add marketing punch
