Japanese souffle pancake house A Happy Pancake (幸福Pancake) has shut down its final location in Causeway Bay after six years of operation in Hong Kong.
In a Facebook group that reports closures of retail stores and restaurants, "全港執笠結業消息關注組," a netizen posted a photo revealing that A Happy Pancake, situated on the second floor of Lee Garden Three in Causeway Bay, has closed. The image also features hoarding for a new designer furniture store named MyConcept.
This follows the closure of A Happy Pancake's other location at K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui in February.
A Happy Pancake's status is marked as "closed permanently" on the local online food and restaurant guide OpenRice, indicating that the last location in Hong Kong has officially shut down, a check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE saw.
Meanwhile, a Happy Pancake's Causeway Bay branch has not been updated on its official Facebook page since August of this year. The brand has not yet released any updates or confirmed if it will exit the Hong Kong market.
