IPG's PR agency Golin breaks into Malaysia with Rantau partnership

Golin has rolled out a brand affiliate office in Malaysia named Rantau Golin in partnership with independent PR consultancy Rantau, adding on to its Southeast Asia network in Singapore and Jakarta.Rantau founder Janitha Sukumaran and Rantau CEO Gogulan Dorairajoo will lead the new office, along with general manger Adeline Phun and head of strategy and new initiatives Julia Nicholas. The Rantau Golin office will retain its original core team of professionals, while tapping into Golin’s global network of resources and talent to more effectively predict and inform strategies that will deliver maximum results for local clients. Founded in 1992, Rantau has worked with clients such as Philips, Blue Ant Media, Subaru, Volkswagen, Munchy's and Unilever, among others.Dorairajoo said Rantau shares and strongly cherishes Golin's position in the marketplace to reclaim PR, redefine it and move the industry forward. He is confident that the partnership will not only allow Rantau to provide clarity on its client offerings, but also assist Golin in its goal to serve a diverse global market."With Rantau Golin, our office will truly reflect the city and community that we’re based in.
