Tan was also the founding partner and part of the core team of Entropia Global from 2016 to 2018 where he worked with brands such as AirAsia, Maybank, Petronas and Nippon Paint to name a few before the company’s acquisition by Accenture.

"There is greatness in Invictus Blue's heritage, and I am honoured to be part of the chapter to design the future together," added Tan.

Tan also worked at companies such as Sime Darby, IPG Mediabrands and Carsome over his 17-year career.

News of Invictus Blue's new CEO comes in the wake of its recent partnership with Havas Group. Last year, Havas Group partnered with Invictus Blue in Malaysia to provide media and integrated requirements for Havas’ clients.

According to Havas, Invictus Blue has a strong reputation and proven track record of creating work that challenges industry norms. It was founded in 1994 by CEO Gerald Miranda a currently works with clients including Vinda Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia, PETRONAS, and F&N.

Alberto Canteli, CEO/chairman Havas Group, Nordics CEE and Middle East, SEA and North Asia said the decision to enter into this affiliation agreement was made "after a review of Invictus Blue’s impeccable track record in Malaysia". "The company deeply understands local cultures and nuances and has a global outlook in consumer trends and the ability to apply cutting-edge tools. Invictus Blue satisfies critical criteria to leverage our global operations," he added.
