iFly Singapore gets PR support

iFly Singapore, one of the largest indoor skydiving wind tunnels, has appointed Cohn & Wolfe as its new public relations agency following a pitch.The contract is for a period of 16-month contract, starting October 2013. Cohn & Wolfe has been tasked to develop iFly Singapore’s publicity campaigns, including school and community engagement through both social and traditional media, with a focus on raising indoor skydiving’s profile both as a leisure activity as well as a sport amongst Singaporeans.Lawrence Koh, founder and managing director of iFly Singapore said the team was “impressed with the energy and enthusiasm of the Cohn & Wolfe team, as well as their ability to seamlessly integrate the social and traditional media platforms into their creative ideas.”“The team also has a good mix of consumer, hospitality and sports marketing experience which makes them stand out from the rest,” Koh added.iFly Singapore was confirmed earlier this year by the Guinness World Records as the World’s largest indoor skydiving wind tunnel. It opened its doors on Singapore’s Sentosa Island in May 2011. Since then they have seen over 96,000 visitors, of which more than half were overseas visitors who jumped at the chance to experience an indoor skydive.
