Hong Kong Technology Venture Company's eCommerce platform HKTVmall and the group's tech arm Shoalter Technology have joined hands to launch an independent eCommerce platform “HKTVshops”, in an effort to assist different types of local and international retailers and brands to diversify the operation of their online businesses.
Under the initiative, they can easily design and operate their own independent online store with a dedicated website domain name via HKTVshops, they are not required to have any relevant knowledge or experience.
The platform will be trialled in May and officially launched in July while the partnership is now looking for new merchants, retailers and brands who are interested in starting an online business pilot.
HKTVmall has a wealth of experience in operating online shopping malls, equipped with mature software systems and big data analysis technology, automated logistics center, delivery logistics fleet, among others.
Therefore, the group has given full support to the concept of "online shopping mall" and launched a brand new “HKTVshops”. This aims to help more merchants, including large, medium and small enterprises, retailers and brands to transform digitally, and encourage merchants to fully develop their eCommerce capability.
At the same time, HKTVshops can further expand the product categories under its "online shopping mall" tab, allowing the company to reach out to more potential and existing customers, increasing customer engagement with HKTVmall.
In terms of mediums of promotion, HKTVshops will strengthen publicity through different marketing channels, including sending promotional notifications and emails via HKTVmall app, which will reach more than 2,800,000 potential customers. The launch of HKTVshops will also be promoted on HKTVmall’s social media channels.
Furthermore, merchants of HKTVshops can use consumer data to build their own customer database, so they can target specific audiences to place ads on search engines and social media platforms.
