HKTB and Malaysia Airlines invite Malaysians to rediscover the beauty of HK

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has joined hands with Malaysia Airlines to launch a joint marketing campaign, inviting Malaysian travellers to rediscover the vibrant city of Hong Kong. This initiative is the latest iteration of Malaysia Airlines’ "Time for" campaign, inspiring holiday goers to explore captivating destinations across its network.

The collaboration encourages travellers to explore Hong Kong’s dynamic mix of modern attractions, rich cultural heritage, and stunning cityscapes. With Malaysia Airlines offering convenient connections with 14 times weekly direct flights from Kuala Lumpur, customers can enjoy a smooth journey while indulging in the airline’s signature Malaysian Hospitality.

Furthermore, travellers can enjoy enticing all-in return fares on economy class available for booking from 17 March until 30 April, for travel until 30 November.

Hong Kong has long been an ideal destination for enthusiastic tourists, from the stunning views at Victoria Peak and thrilling adventures at Ocean Park Hong Kong to the cultural charm of Ngong Ping 360 and the bustling energy of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong offers a wealth of unforgettable experiences.

Moreover, Hong Kong has been actively promoting its Muslim-friendly facilities to welcome Muslim travellers. The city now boasts an increasing number of Halal-certified eateries and Muslim-friendly hotels, which are well-equipped to meet the specific needs of these travellers, ensuring them a truly memorable holiday experience.

To date, there are and 153 Halal-certified and Muslim-owned eateries offering travellers a wider array of culinary options In addition, 55 hotels, 5 attractions and MICE venues In Hong Kong have successfully obtained accreditation rating for their Muslim-Friendly services and facilities.

Back in February, HKTB invited 22 Muslim travel trade representatives from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia to visit Hong Kong for four days and three nights to experience Hong Kong’s Muslim-friendly tourism facilities and offerings in person.

They visited various hotels that received Muslim accreditations by international Muslim tourism certifier “CrescentRating”, to check out their accommodation facilities and catering services. They have also tried authentic quality Chinese cuisines with Halal-certifications, including crab roe noodles, Hong Kong-made handmade cookies and Hong Kong-style dim sum, enjoying the authentic Hong Kong experience on tastebuds.

The delegation also explored Muslim-friendly amenities and taking part activities. They met pandas "An An" and "Ke Ke" in Ocean Park Hong Kong and went to Hong Kong Disneyland, Old Town Central, Ngong Ping, and Tai O.
