CR Pharmaceutical Group’s healthcare chain CRcare (華潤堂) will close all of its 19 branches in Hong Kong next month due to external uncertainties and various operational challenges.
According to its statement on Facebook, the company will immediately stop accepting new membership applications and issuing membership points. Meanwhile, the membership programme will officially end on 8 November, after which memberships and points will become invalid.
“The final validity period for the vouchers is 7 November. If you currently hold any valid vouchers that have not been redeemed, please use them at our branches as soon as possible, as all unused vouchers will not be eligible for refunds,” the statement reads.
CRcare has also thanked its customers for their long-standing support and loyalty to the brand in the statement.
CRcare's Facebook post has received over 500 reactions, 150 comments, and 60 shares, according to a check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. While some netizens expressed sadness over CRcare's closure, some thanked the company for its years of service.
Established in 1999, CRcare is based on traditional Chinese wellness wisdom and combined with modern science, offering various health products and services, according to its official website. The chain operates a total of 19 outlets across Hong Kong, with four located on Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon, and 12 in the New Territories.
