Gucci Beauty picks NewJeans star as global brand ambassador

Luxury beauty brand Gucci Beauty has named K-POP band NewJeans' member Hanni as its newest global brand ambassador.

The K-pop star has served as a global brand ambassador for Gucci since October 2022. She will now expand her current role to include Gucci Beauty.

As a member of the global sensation NewJeans, Hanni has garnered attention for her electrifying stage presence and distinctive sense of style. Her magnetic charisma, self-confidence, and genuine authenticity perfectly embody Gucci Beauty’s core values, it said in a statement.

In recent years, Hanni has also engaged in international projects, attending fashion shows, and starring in campaigns for the House.

Gucci Beauty took to Instagram to announce the partnership by posting a series of three Instagram posts featuring Hanni herself. In the Instagram reel that was a part of this series, Hanni was featured applying one of Gucci Beauty's products - the Rouge à Lèvres Mat lipstick 509 ‘Rosso Ancora’ which is presented by Gucci Beauty as a signature red shade that will be available soon online and in store.

NewJeans have done multiple collaborative initiatives for various brands since they rose to fame in 2022. Earlier in the year, the group collaborated with sports brand Nike on a limited-edition Nike By You x NewJeans collection which was made available exclusively at Nike Orchard Road.

Nike announced via their app that the group was set to perform at the Nike Orchard Road store in Singapore as part of the launch.
