MediaCom has appointed Regan Baillie (pictured) as chief business development and marketing officer APAC. She was previously chief digital officer at GroupM Singapore. As chief digital officer at GroupM Singapore, she led digital, data and platforms across Xaxis and [m]Platform and also drove the digital development of GroupM Singapore. Baillie began her journey with GroupM in 2015 as managing director of Xaxis and [m]Platform. Bringing with her 20 years of experience, Baillie started her career as a media planner/buyer before moving into digital media and then business development and commercial management roles throughout Singapore and London. Moving forward, Baillie’s focus will be to develop a stronger culture of prospecting, lead major pitches and support market growth opportunities. She will also partner with Bebhinn Carey, recently promoted communications director APAC, to elevate MediaCom’s profile and positioning internally and externally. Baillie will join the MediaCom APAC leadership team (ExCo) and she will report directly into Mark Heap, CEO MediaCom APAC. “Baillie’s knowledge of our digital and data products, a strong and proven background in business development and a foundation in media planning and buying made Baillie the outstanding candidate from a very strong shortlist. In the past three years, we’ve had a great run of new business wins and it’s important we maintain and try to build on this momentum even further. I am confident that under Baillie’s leadership we will do so brilliantly," Heap said. “Working closely with MediaCom over the past three years, I greatly admired their dynamic culture and focus on excellence and innovation for clients. I am delighted to now join the team and contribute to the continued drive for growth," Baillie said. She is also the recent hire in a series of key C-level appointments for the agency in the last three months including those of Paul Waller, chief investment officer and Josh Gallagher, chief product officer.
