In celebration of International Women's Month, Globe Telecom supported the return of She Talks Asia, which relaunched on 15 March at The Globe Tower in BGC, continuing its mission to foster meaningful conversations on leadership, inclusivity, and resilience.

This year's theme, "Brave Over Perfect," encouraged women to push past self-doubt, embrace bold risks, and step into their full potential. Aligned with its Go Forward Together advocacy, Globe aims to highlight its commitment to supporting the evolving roles of women across families, workplaces, and communities.

"At the centre of everything we do is our customers. The point and purpose of every service, innovation, and partnership we pursue is to help every Filipino confidently create the life they want," said Roche Vandenberghe (pictured, centre), chief marketing officer at Globe.

"Women play a key role in shaping families—both traditional and found—so it is essential to provide them with platforms such as the She Talks Asia Summit where they can share their experiences, gain strength, and connect with others," she added.

The event, spearheaded by She Talks Asia co-founders Lynn Pinugu, Iza Calzado, and Globe ambassador Bianca Gonzalez, featured thought-provoking discussions spanning finance, self-worth, resilience, and longevity.

Anna Oposa, an award-winning marine conservationist, took the stage to share her journey of overcoming obsessive perfectionism, reinforcing the event's call to embrace bravery over unattainable perfection.

A panel discussion on "Overcoming the Fear of an Expiration Date" featured notable women such as beauty editor and content creator Belle Rodolfo, Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, and wellness advocate and international author Anca Griffiths. Meanwhile, lifestyle journalist Stephanie Zubiri led a workshop session titled "Ignite Your Inner Light."

With digital connectivity now a necessity, Globe continues to empower women through technology, ensuring access to remote work opportunities, online businesses, and digital learning platforms. The company said that it also champions women's leadership and economic inclusion, acknowledging their pivotal role in driving progress.

Despite the Philippines' strong representation of women in leadership at 48%, alongside a comparatively smaller gender wage gap, Globe remains committed to pushing for greater equity. Through its ongoing initiatives and long-standing collaboration with She Talks Asia, the company aims to continue to be an ally in advancing women's empowerment, providing the tools and platforms they need to move forward with confidence.
