Former Mox Bank customer chief Peony Wu joins Accenture Interactive

Former Mox Bank chief customer officer Peony Wu has joined Accenture Interactive as managing director, marketing advisory lead for Greater China, according to her LinkedIn.
In her new position, Wu leads the marketing advisory practice for the agency with an aim to combine creativity and innovation across marketing together with a structured strategic approach to elevate the agency's relationships, conversations and offerings to originate unique experiences for consumers and brands and reinvent experiences for growth.

Prior to joining Accenture Interactive, Wu worked for Mox Bank for two years where she was chief customer officer. In this position, Wu was responsible for the total relationship with customers, including product proposition development, customer experience, branding, marketing and sales. Her role was centred around bringing a personalised mobile banking experience to delight customers.
Prior to that, she was head of marketing, engagement, customer experience and design at Asia Miles, responsible for developing, managing and executing marketing strategies, engaging Asia Miles members and programme partners to enhance brand awareness, and articulating desired propositions, offers and image. She also played a key role in driving Asia Miles's digital evolution to enhance insight-driven marketing capabilities of the programme in line with business objectives. Her remit also included building customer experience design capabilities in support of business decision making and corporate innovation, to deliver and promote a customer-centric and attractive product image and experience journey to penetrate the right customer segments.
Not a stranger to the creative industry, Wu also held senior management positions at Ogilvy & Mather as she was chief digital officer for China where she oversaw the day-to-day management of the advertising discipline in the Beijing office. She also worked for Motorola as marketing director, APAC, digital marketing and eCommerce.
