Former Gojek marketing SVP Monita Moerdani joins DANA Indonesia

Digital payment platform DANA Indonesia has appointed Monita Moerdani (pictured) as CMO. DANA has teams in Bandung, Jakarta, Bali and Yogyakarta cover technology, marketing, product and UX, communication, innovation, internal audit and business development.
Moerdani was previously with Gojek Indonesia as SVP of marketing for more than two years, according to her LinkedIn. During her time there, she led product marketing for Gojek's core transport portfolio and her responsibilities were brand strategy, optimising cost effectiveness of marketing investments, and growing brand sailency.
Prior to that, she was with Tokopedia as head of brand marketing for more than a year, during which she developed and executed brand marketing strategies. According to LinkedIn, among the list of responsibilities she had included brand communications, brand activation, offline media, and the development of planning process.
Moerdani also worked at HM Sampoerna for more than five years, helming the roles of brand manager for A Mild and Marlboro. She also has experience on the agency side, having worked at DDB Group Indonesia as strategic planner for more than a year.
Separately, Amanda Parikesit (pictured below) has joined Gojek Indonesia as head of global transport marketing, taking over from Moerdani. He reports to global CMO Ainul Yaqin and works closely with Raditya Wibowo, Gojek's group head of transportation.
The ride hailing firm recently invested in Indonesian fintech payments company LinkAja to further enhance the ability of both companies to strengthen the adoption of digital financial services and accelerate financial inclusion in Indonesia. As part of the partnership, LinkAja will be included as an additional payment method on the Gojek app in Indonesia, enabling users to pay for select additional Gojek services with LinkAja.
