Facebook launches CNY stickers, avatars and AR effects

Just one day before the Chinese New Year, Facebook has launched a set of features to celebrate the Year of the Ox. Starting from 11 February, users can enjoy a festive themed experience on Facebook with four different features.
First, clicking the customised Lunar New Year Facebook logo opens a gateway to Year of the Ox content:
Second, they can turn their profile picture into a festive Chinese New Year sticker avatar. Avatars enable people to engage in a more personal way, letting people share a range of emotions and expressions via a digital persona that’s uniquely representative of themselves.
AR effects and stickers are also available. Effects and filters have grown popular among brands, being offered by both Facebook and Instagram for this year's New Year celebrations.
And finally, users can search #TheYearofTheOx or #ItsMyLunarNewYear GIF stickers, before posting and sharing some hashtags (#新年快樂 #牛年進步 #恭喜發財) on Facebook as well.
