Colgate-Palmolive's digital brand associate director APAC leaves firm to join Ekimetrics

Colgate-Palmolive's digital brand associate director APAC William Ferrell (pictured) has left the company to join a data science firm Ekimetrics.

Combining his experience from agency, consulting and brand side, Ferrell will be focused on helping Ekimetrics' clients to understand the value of their data, while developing insight-led strategies to enable a better consumer experience for the firm, according to the press release.

“I’m excited to join Ekimetrics, a leading data science firm positioned at the center of consumers, media, and sustainability. Building on Ekimetrics’s past work in APAC on data strategy and analytics, I look forward to growing the digital expertise in the region, focused on consumer experience and digital media,” said William Ferrell.

Prior to his new role, Ferrell was most recently the digital brand associate director APAC at Colgate-Palmolive, leading the digital transformation at Colgate Palmolive APAC with focus on digital enablement, performance media, CRM, and analytics. According to his LinkedIn, Ferrell also served as APAC lead for all digital transformation initiatives to implement Colgate's global strategy across data enablement and performance marketing including performance analytics, salesforce, and programmatic marketing.

According to the release, Ferrell is an accomplished international digital marketer with extensive media, advertising, and marketing experience. He started his marketing and data analytics career in boutique consulting firms before moving on to Starcom media agency, holding leadership positions in Chicago, Madrid, and Melbourne. Ferrell joined Starcom in September 2011 and had worked for over five years. After that, he joined Ogilvy in June 2017 as consulting director, data and analytics for APAC. He then moved to Hong Kong as head of consulting of iProspect, APAC.
