Edipresse Media Asia will rebrand as Tatler Asia Group with several key appointments leading the change.
As the publisher of several brands, including Tatler Asia, Generation T, T.Dining, and Home Journal, the company states is now "in a unique position to become the go-to omni-media brand among Asia’s most influential and affluent audiences." According to Michel Lamuniére, chairman and CEO of Edipresse Media Asia, Asian consumers currently represent more than 50% of total luxury spending.
To lead the relaunch, the company has appointed Brendan Monaghan, who will be based in Hong Kong, as its chief revenue and marketing officer. He most recently served as chief business officer of digital media travel brand Beautiful Destinations but has an extensive record before that.
Previously, Monaghan served as chief fashion and luxury officer at Condé Nast on the revenue side on behalf of all Condé Nast brands in the US, and as the chief revenue officer and publisher of Condé Nast Traveler from 2015 to 2017. Prior to Condé Nast, Monaghan was senior vice president of luxury for the New York Times and publisher of T Magazine. Finally, he spent nearly 13 years at GQ magazine in several leadership positions, including associate publisher and executive director of International Fashion and served at Vogue for two years as the Los Angeles manager.
Another big hire for the Tatler Asia Group rebrand is naming Shen Qing as managing director for Shangliu Tatler, Tatler’s Mainland China edition. Possessing 15 years of experiences in the media industry, Shen joins from the Financial Times China, where she was the publisher of FT Rui Magazine.
Before her position at the Financial Times, Shen was the associate publisher of a lifestyle title and editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine at Modern Media Group China and publisher and editor of Target, a Chinese luxury lifestyle magazine.
Joe Zee also joins Tatler Asia Group as its global artistic director. Based in Los Angeles, he will oversee the visual identity across all brand, print, and digital platforms.
