Edelman has appointed Jasmine Bahen as its chief talent officer for Asia Pacific.

In her position, Bahen will oversee all aspects of Edelman's talent and human resources strategy for the Asia Pacific region, helping drive the culture, engagement, and performance of employees for its clients. She will report to Marie-Claire Barker, Edelman's global chief talent officer.

Commenting on the appointment, Baker said, "At Edelman, talent is our differentiator. The best communications consultants are nurtured and developed over a long-term career path that can take many forms in our multi-disciplined world. Bahen’s rich experience across talent development and learning, recruiting, and partnering with business heads will only enhance our differentiation as we show up to our clients.”

Formerly the director of talent development at NBC Universal, she had led the media company's talent functions supporting Asia Pacific before moving to Los Angeles to take on a global remit across talent development. Before that, Behen worked with Johnson Controls where she oversaw talent acquisition, learning and development, and talent management for Asia Pacific.

“Edelman places a tremendous amount of importance on the experience its employees gain within the business. My aim is to ensure that we deliver the best career experience for anyone who becomes part of our team," said Bahen.
