British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has been travelling across Asia for his Mathematics Tour and has asked fans in Malaysia for recommendations in Kuala Lumpur in a concert promo video that was posted by PR Worldwide.

In the video, Sheeran was seen asking fans for recommendations as to what to do when he arrives to perform on 24 February at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

"What's up Malaysia, I'm coming back to play KL on February 24th. Hit me up with some recommendations on what to do there," said Sheeran in the video. "I can't wait to be back to your beautiful city."

Social media users were quick to share their recommendations in the comments. Some suggested local dishes to try such as Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai and Nasi Kandar.

Others suggested activities such as walking around Bukit Bintang at night, purchasing new sneakers at the city's TRX exchange mall, karaoke and even sky diving at KL tower. Many volunteered themselves to become Sheeran's personal tour guide as well.

Sheeran performed in Singapore last Friday and fully embraced the local culture, even sharing a video of him making Teh Tarik at a local eatery.

In Singapore, he also connected with local entrepreneurs and wore a watch strap by local Singaporean brand Delugs on stage during the concert. Since then, the brand has seen a significant peek in conversations.

The couple behind the brand, Kenneth Kuan and Chia Pei Qi, hand painted a case for the singer and prepared a set of specially chosen rubber straps for the singer after he noted in an interview his preference for them. They then released a video tagging the singer, showing off their process and imploring their followers to help them get noticed by Sheeran.

"If we can get Sheeran to come to the Delugs showroom, we’ll run the biggest ever sales in our history. Let’s make this happen," the brand said on Instagram. The video got 78,000 views at the time of writing and got noticed by Sheeran who invited the couple backstage to get the box of straps and then later wore on of the straps onstage when he performed.

Prior to his trip to Singapore, Sheeran got a traditional Sak Yant tattoo in Thailand, organised a little scavenger hunt for fans in Taiwan, and tried Takoyaki in Japan.
