Integrated development firm DUO has appointed brand consultancy 8tarordinary as its digital agency. Consisting of a 49-storey residential tower, a 39-storey commercial tower and Andaz Hotel by Hyatt, 8traordinary will be the agency for the commercial tower. The agency was founded last year by former general manager and principal consultant of Carbon Interactive Singapore Jeffrey Lim in 2019.
Under this year-long partnership, 8traordinary’s scope includes content marketing, social media management, email marketing, and website design and management.
Lim, current founder and managing director of 8traordinary said the company was excited to begin the new partnership with DUO and saw great potential for integrated developments such as DUO that operated on a live-work-play concept. He further said although this was not a new concept, it definitely was the future for the next generation and beyond.
“Remember how location used to be key? Today, convenience is king, and we want to make it purposeful through great branding and communications. With strategic marketing, our aim is to strengthen DUO’s communities – online and offline”, Lim added.
A statement from DUO management also said the company was pleased to appoint 8traordinary and they looked forward to working with Jeffrey and his team on building DUO’s brand. “From fitness and healthcare to bar and restaurants, we seek to provide a balanced experience through our live, work, play concept at DUO”, the statement added.
8traordinary has been appointed by various other brands as well this year. Early June, TikTok appointed 8traordinary as its content partner to provide brands and app developers with short-form branded content and access to native advertising campaigns, including TikTok influencers on the platform. Following this, shopping mall Funan reappointed the consultancy as its social media agency for another year, marking the second consecutive year of the partnership which started in 2019.
