Meanwhile, the scarfs, inspired by the intricate patterns and colours of a traditional piece of batik, aims to capture the essence of family heritage and is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of nostalgia and connection to the past. The different designs of scarfs are named 'Cinta' (love), 'Teguh' (strong), 'Setia' (loyal), 'Harmoni' (harmony), 'Damai' (peace) and 'Sejahtera' (tranquillity).
To further enrich the campaign, dUCk will be launching a new podcast series that explores the significance of family heirlooms in Malaysian society.
Called "The dUCk podcast, Malaysia edition", the first episode was launched with political activist and daughter of Malaysia's prime minister Nurul Izzah as a guest.
In the first episode, Nurul Izzah shared her experiences balancing mothership with a high-profile role and reflected upon the impact of her father's incarceration.
The podcast will also feature other renowned figures from various fields who will share their personal stories, insights and perspectives. Some of the expected guests include minister of youth and sports Hannah Yeoh and Malaysian squash player Nicol David.
This collection comes after dUCk's Raya collection, "The Nisa dUCk". The collection is inspired by the spirit of Nisa, which means 'woman' in Arabic, and is a tribute to the multifaceted beauty and empowerment of women around the world.
According to a release, dUCk realises how Islam puts women on a pedestal, protects and even asks for gifts to be given to them.
Through "The Nisa dUCk", the brand aims to champion the first Muslim woman, Saidatina Khadijah RA, who was a successful businesswoman and devoted wife to Prophet Muhammad SAW.
