Biggest winner of DigiZ Awards Hong Kong 2022 unveiled

YSL BEAUTÉ Hong Kong has risen to the top at the competition at DigiZ Awards on 7 November and was crowned Best of Show – Brand.
The main platform for digital marketers across Hong Kong to showcase their cutting-edge strategies, the Awards saw plenty of excited finalists gather at Hotel ICON to see if their company would take home the top awards. All entries were carefully evaluated by a high-profile panel of 23 digital professionals.

Standing out from the crowd, and impressing the jury with innovative solutions and team results, was YSL BEAUTÉ Hong Kong which took home five trophies in total including four golds and one bronze. The campaign which wowed the judges helping to bag the golds for YSL BEAUTÉ Hong Kong was “YSL BEAUTY RECORDS”. YSL BEAUTY RECORDS was launched to boost YSL’s social media presence in the local market and differentiate the brand, it also aimed to recruit new and younger customers, entertain our customers and increase their brand stickiness, as well as overcoming sales impact under the pandemic and strengthen YSL’s eCommerce channels.
Instead of promoting its brand via Facebook and Instagram, the campaign has reproduced the look and feel of a physical event with web augmented reality (AR), unity and HTML5 technologies on a virtual event website. With immersive entertainment, live concert, rewards and special offers, the brand wished to show its customers something completely new and different.
Meanwhile, Pontac won the prestigious Best of Show – Agency. The agency took home a total of seven golds, three silvers and two bronzes with campaigns including “Say it with VALENTINO” for Valentino Beauty Hong Kong, “2021 Member Loyalty Programme” for Charlotte Tilbury, and “YSL BEAUTY RECORDS” for YSL BEAUTÉ Hong Kong.
"Say it with VALENTINO" aimed to launch VALENTINO’s online media presence in the Hong Kong market in a way that differentiates the brand and educate consumers about VALENTINO’s brand personality and story of their fragrance products. In order to leverage every tool in luxury beauty and cosmetic marketing, the brand combined digital marketing, experiential marketing, personalisation, automation, word-of-mouth social effects, novel technologies and more.
This year, the competition was incredibly tight with close to 346 entries across 47 categories and a total of 119 trophies awarded to the leading brands and agencies across the regions at the ceremony. The award show was MARKETING-INTERACTIVE’s third edition of DigiZ.
The awards programme was solely created to recognise Asia's marketing industry’s outstanding digital marketing campaigns and strategies. This year, 23 industry leaders and senior marketers invested their time, effort and energy into judging out entries.
