The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) has appointed Rev Media Group as a strategic partner for its digital platform, MyMall, to help SME entrepreneurs in Malaysia advertise their products and services with the publisher's REV Ad Manager advertising platform.  The group will also be supporting SME entrepreneurs through REV Marketing Partners, a REV Ad Manager platform partner for products and services in MyMall.

Launched as a collaboration with consumer intelligence company Dattel Asia Group, REV Ad Manager is powered by AI for better audience targeting. By using the REV Ad Manager platform, Rev Media Group said that SME entrepreneurs can directly advertise their products and leverage the 15.8 million unique visitors on its audience network across brands such as Berita Harian, Harian Metro, and New Straits Times, among others.

Rev Media Group's chief operating officer, Nicholas Sagau (pictured right above) said: "The group is giving free credit to SME entrepreneurs and members of the MyMall business community for them to start advertising their business products and services.

Meanwhile, MyMall was introduced by MEDAC last December as an entrepreneurial ecosystem development platform dedicated to entrepreneurs and local products. A result of the integration of all eCommerce platforms under the ministry, MyMall includes four main axes: eCommerce, training, financing, and marketing. The launch of MyMall came about shortly after MEDAC released a statement revealing that the nation’s MSME sector which accounts for close to 40% of the country’s GDP, is said to be on the “brink of collapsing”.
