Deliveroo has expanded its partnership with Golin Hong Kong, tasking the agency to develop and lead its consumer PR activities across the city.

Golin’s ability to provide successful corporate PR strategies to the food delivery platform has led to the extended partnership.

The focus of the latest service scope will be communicating Deliveroo Hong Kong’s innovative and community driven values while being a leader in the field of online food delivery. Golin will support Deliveroo Hong Kong across media relations by curating stories and publicising launches of consumer-centric PR news.

“In the beginning, we started out with the simple idea of making delicious food more accessible,” said Brian Lo, general manager of Deliveroo Hong Kong.

“Now, we’re helping to feed our community and are committed to offering flexible, rewarding work and support to thousands of riders in whatever ways we can. We want these stories to be told to kick-start innovation and fresh thinking in other businesses and industries.”

Jane Morgan, managing director of Golin Hong Kong, said: “Having seen Deliveroo (Hong Kong) consistently bring solution-driven options to restaurant partners, the F&B industry, riders, and Hongkongers across the board, Golin is exceptionally proud to extend our partnership.

“As our city learns to navigate unchartered waters, we’re committed to working with progressive companies and doing our part to help them achieve results that not only benefit their own company, but the community as a whole.”
