Decathlon which has launched a new campaign to encourage Singaporeans to give each other the gift of sport this festive season. Done in partnership with The Secret Little Agency (TSLA), the campaign features a 45 second film that celebrates all the wonderful, limitless possibilities that you open someone up to, when you gift them the gift of sport from Decathlon.

From a young girl who was gifted a bike and who formed a bike girl crew to cycle around the neighborhood with, to someone who was gifted a pair of swimming goggles and who went on to win medals in competitions, the heart-felt video highlights that there is no limit to where the simple gift of sport can take you.

“With the help from TSLA for our campaign, we were able to work together on the story behind what sport and gifting really means,” said Kieran O’Shea, the marketing director at Decathlon.

He added that the message of, "When you gift sport, you gift more" truly represents the purpose of this campaign, however big or small the sports product from Decathlon might be.

“The adventures and experiences you can have with the product is limitless, so the gift really doesn't stop at the exchange of the product. We tried to encapsulate this message and idea across the film and with the range of products and audiences we wanted to reach during this campaign, ensuring the film resonates with all of Singapore," he added.

The campaign comes alongside Decathlon’s recent announcement of a new media agency this week. The account was won after a pitch in late 2022, and the scope of work includes integrated media planning and buying duties across traditional and digital channels.
