DBS SME Banking HK highlights service speed with tunnel billboards

DBS SME Banking has unveiled large-scale billboards at the Western and Eastern harbour tunnels to promote the speed and seamlessness of its enhanced service attributes.
Also known as “DBS SME Banking: Unlimited business opportunities at your fingertips” (彈指間 撻着無限商機), the campaign comes after the bank upgraded its online business account opening service in June. Running from June until September, it aims to promote its enhanced service through multi-channels.
Strategically placed at Western and Eastern harbour tunnels, two of Hong Kong's busiest crossings, the billboards (pictured) feature taglines including "Crossing the harbour and opening business accounts—both should be quick" (過海想快,企業開戶都想快), and "The worst part of crossing the harbour is the traffic jam, but opening a DBS business account won’t be jammed" (過海最怕塞 DBS企業開戶唔會塞 ).
These taglines aim to link people’s everyday desire for quick and congestion-free harbour crossings with the need for fast, convenient business account openings.
Moreover, the billboards highlight key advantages, including "The entire process to be completed online without any hassle" (全程網上辦妥 暢通無阻 ), and the needless of visiting a branch or travel to Hong Kong, aiming to address critical concerns for SMEs in both Hong Kong and mainland China to stay ahead in the competitive business world.
In addition to the tunnel billboards, DBS launched a creative video titled "Business opportunities at your fingertips" (彈指間 撻著無限商機 ). It features talents snapping their fingers, symbolising how swiftly and effortlessly DBS can address SME banking needs. This theme is further amplified through YouTube, Google Search, social media, and display banners.
Eva Leung, executive director and head of marketing, institutional banking group, DBS Bank (Hong Kong), said: “SMEs, comprising over 98% of Hong Kong's enterprises, are the backbone of the economy. At DBS, we understand that regardless of the origin of the business owners —Hong Kong, mainland China, or beyond— they all seek a seamless business account opening process as easy as a finger snap.”
“With this in mind, our large-scale out-of-home campaign features catchphrases that resonate with commuters' desires for smooth journeys when crossing the tunnels, while mirroring the hassle-free banking experience we provide our SME clients,” Leung added.
Don’t miss: DBS HK empowers SMEs with new sustainability campaign
Back in April, DBS SME Banking launched a marketing campaign under its SME community programme DBS BusinessClass, aiming to support Hong Kong SMEs to kick off their low-carbon transformation journey.
The campaign came with the tagline “DBS & SMEs: Together we make the low carbon journey possible (DBS陪中小企行多步,低碳升LV Possible) ”, which aimed to help SMEs navigate the complexities of transitioning to a low-carbon business model and inspire them to take progressive steps towards sustainability, with support from DBS.
