DBS names new SVP of corporate branding, digital marketing and DBS Foundation

DBS Bank has promoted Kosby Fu (pictured) to senior vice president, corporate branding, digital marketing and DBS Foundation.
According to his LinkedIn, Fu was vice president, corporate branding and digital marketing, group strategic marketing and communication of the bank previously, where he was responsible for overseeing and promoting corporate branding through campaigns and external engagement with events and communities. He was also responsible for supporting the chairperson to coordinate the bank-wide sustainability council to keep track the progress of the bank’s sustainability targets, and to formulate communication plans.
Fu joined DBS in 2015 as its assistant vice president, strategic planniing and transformation, technology and operations, where he was responsible for internally coordinating a fintech accelerator programme in the bank - DBS Accelerator. He was also involved in facilitating organisational culture transformation's initiatives by means of digital communication, creative storytelling, content creation and infographic design. He was also engaged in marketing communication for events of SME-focus DBS BusinessClass.
He was then promoted to the vice president of organisational innovation, innovation and ecosystems in 2019 where he was tasked at leading the organisational innovation function in the department to drive collaboration with the innovation and fintech community and academia; leading the UX team to deliver seamless digital customer experience in our banking product; practicing design thinking in business projects and facilitate workshop for ecosystem partnership; promoting DBS HK as an innovative brand externally by arranging participation to related events.

Back in last December, DBS has appointed Wallace Lam as managing director and head of institutional banking group for Hong Kong. The appointment will be effective from 1 January 2023. Lam will also become a member of the DBS Hong Kong management committee.
DBS told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that Lam is responsible for managing and growing the bank’s franchise in the large corporate and mid-cap businesses and SMEs in Hong Kong, as well as overseeing the strategic advisory and syndicated finance business. He will continue to expand the DBS Hong Kong franchise and grow their institutional banking group business, drive transformation and digital journey for their corporate customers. Lam will also take a lead in expanding their regional connectivity and enhancing the bank’s strategic capabilities.
