Daniel Hagmeijer takes on new CMO role with MAP Active

The Body Shop Indonesia’s chief customer officer and CMO Daniel Hagmeijer (pictured) has joined MAP Active in Indonesia as the new CMO.
Hagmeijer was with The Body Shop Indonesia for over two years, first joining as chief digital officer, and quickly climbing the ranks. With an extensive digital experience, Hagmeijer joined the Body shop after holding the managing director role of WPP’s Wunderman Thompson Indonesia for a year after it merged with Mirum Indonesia.
According to his LinkedIn, he promoted the integration of end-to-end marketing, eCommerce, and customer experience departments across the entire The Body Shop experience. He also oversaw a team of over 60 from disciplines such as brand, CX, product development, PR, ecommerce, paid media, CRM, SEO, digital analytics, social, market research, customer care, and marketing technology professionals.
Before that, he spent more than six years with Mirum, last helming the role of MD overseeing a team of 115 professionals, according to his LinkedIn.
During this time at Mirum, Hagmeijer rose through the ranks from strategy director and head of strategy to head of experience design. He has also worked at TNS Indonesia, Exact, Philips Research, and TU Delft, according to his LinkedIn.
