SG creative agency TMRW eyes regional expansion starting with Vietnam

Creative boutique agency TMRW has revealed its plans to strengthen its regional presence in Singapore and Vietnam with the appointment of four senior leaders.

According to the agency, the new appointments aim to reflect the company’s commitment to deliver high quality content, to champion growth and innovation in the region.

Helming the position of regional managing director for Singapore and Vietnam is Gary Yip (pictured right). With years of experience in marketing, Yip brings a wealth of experience and innovative solutions to help fortify the company’s structure. He initially joined the early in 2023, and has been working in the role for three months.

Along with Yip, Nhi Do (pictured left) has been appointed the role of regional general manager for the company’s Vietnam division. Having over two decades of integrated marketing communication experience, Do has led multiple creative brand campaigns, which she believes can play a part in authentic business transformation.

"I'm honored to be a part of this journey, where we blend creative brilliance and client-centered solutions to redefine the advertising landscape,” said Yip.

Both Yip and Do are also joined by Sridhar Gopalratnam (pictured second left), TMRW’s newly appointed creative director. Gopalratnam is charged with spearheading the agency’s creative vision.

After being with the agency for slightly over two years, Gopalratnam has worked with agencies such as Ogilvy, BBDO and Grey, along with brands such as IBM, Guinness, Unilever, P&G, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Singtel and Changi Airport.

Thomas Ong (pictured second right) joins the roster as well as the business director for TMRW. Being with the agency or almost two years, Ong managed general operations, hiring of talents, developing new business leads and led business development on various accounts.

With his diverse range of experience spanning multiple sectors, including government, telecommunications, banking, retail, and FMCG, Ong will be responsible to lead TMRW's Whole-of-Government (WOG) portfolio and spearhead innovative business initiatives for the agency.

TMRW has worked with multiple notable brands, ever since its launch in 2015. The agency partnered with Samsung, introducing an art contest to the public, banking on how a majority of consumers were willing to pay more for a customised product or service.
