Colliers names Cecilia Chan marketing director of valuation and advisory services

Professional services and investment management company Colliers has appointed Cecilia Chan as marketing director of valuation and advisory services business in Asia. Chan will report to CK Lau, managing director of Colliers Hong Kong and managing director for valuation & advisory services business at the company.
According to Colliers’ LinkedIn, Chan will collaborate with local and regional experts to produce class-leading marketing and communication strategies for the company’s valuation and advisory business and amplify the brand across the region. Chan also has to manage content campaigns, lead generations and client engagement programmes. In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Chan said: "I am thrilled to join Colliers and take up this role. It is my great honour to join this team of specialists and work together to further grow our business in Asia."
Prior to her new role, Chan was head of marketing at Carousell Group Hong Kong, responsible for the platform user growth and overall consumer marketing strategies for Carousell Hong Kong. During her time at Carousell, Chan partnered with internal stakeholders to drive vertical markets user acquisition and retention; established strategic partnership with external stakeholders for business growth; shaped, planned and implemented branding, content, PR, social, digital and offline marketing and event strategies.
Chan has been instrumental in elevating the brand for different global and local, traditional or start-up companies, including Lenovo in the Asia Pacific Region and Hong Kong, PCCW, and co-working space operator theDesk. She was the core team that started Interactive Advertising Bureau Hong Kong.
Previously in May this year, Colliers appointed Andrew Lau as director of ESG Advisory for Asia. In this position, Lau provides expert guidance for occupiers, landlords, investors and developers on ESG, and how they can adopt net zero and holistic environmental solutions into their portfolios and operations.
As a chartered engineer, Lau brings a wealth of environmental, social and governance (ESG) expertise from his previous assignments such as offering advice to a diverse range of clients such as HSBC, Hang Seng Bank, Facebook, Dell and Cyberport to map out sustainable solutions to their business objectives including Net Zero Emissions pathways.

The tactical addition of Lau to the team is vital as we aim to expand our service offering in ESG advisory to meet the growing needs of our clients as they continue to position sustainability at the heart of everything they do.
