Coca-Cola names Win Metawin as its first ASEAN brand ambassador

The Coca-Cola company has appointed influencer, actor and model Win Metawin as its first ASEAN brand ambassador for its "A Recipe for Magic" campaign to celebrate the human connections made when food is shared around a table.

Based in Thailand and a self-professed foodie, Metawin will collaborate with the beverage brand to unveil his own "Recipe for Magic" through a series of activities that include film, media engagements, social media activations and interactions.

The campaign aims to remind people to not only savour their meals and drinks but to also create magical moments and unforgettable memories with family and friends during their dining experiences, according to a statement by the brand.

“Meals hold a significant place in my heart. Throughout my childhood, I recall that many of the fun and magical occasions we had as family took place at the dining table,” said Metawin.

“It was in those precious moments that I would gather with my family or friends, eagerly learning about the exciting events unfolding in their lives. Meals are truly magical moments to me,” he continued.

Coca-Cola’s "A Recipe for Magic" campaign will be released across Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore markets.

The campaign is also the latest instalment to its "Real Magic" brand philosophy which emphasises that each day or specially planned occasion can become magical when it is enjoyed with the right mix of people, food and its Coca-Cola beverage.

The Coca-Cola company has been on a roll with its campaigns. Recently, the brand unveiled its latest limited-edition flavour from Coca-Cola Creations, the “Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar" in collaboration with Riot Games, the publisher and developer of multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game League of Legends.

The limited-edition drink will allow fans and players to experience a taste of experience points (+XP) and serve to commemorate each player’s journey. This launch also marks the first collaboration between Coca-Cola and a gaming company on curating a flavoured drink.

Following the release of “Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar”, in-game and digital experiences will amp up the anticipation for the “Coca-Cola Ultimate Zero Sugar” collaboration to players worldwide.
