CMO shuffle at Traveloka

Dionisius Nathaniel (pictured left) has joined health tech platform Halodoc as CMO from Traveloka, during which he was interim CMO for more than a year, according to his LinkedIn. He reports to CEO and co-founder Jonathan Sudharta. Replacing him at Traveloka is Christian Suwarna (pictured right), who takes on the latest portfolio in addition to his role as Traveloka's CEO of experience. Suwarna reports to Traveloka's CEO Ferry Unardi.
Prior to Traveloka, Nathaniel worked at HM Sampoerna, Philip Morris International and Nielsen, according to his LinkedIn. In a statement to Marketing Interactive, Halodoc's spokesperson said he is responsible for leading the overall marketing operations of Halodoc business, including strategic planning, product marketing management, and go to market strategy across multiple Halodoc’s product and service verticals.
This is done with one constant goal in mind - to simplify access to healthcare for everyone in Indonesia. Nathaniel said his vision for the role is to synthetise Halodoc's mission of simplifying access to healthcare and further elevate the brand positioning and propositions, while continuously growing the growth opportunity in the health and wellness space. He added that users will be the focal point of this strategy.
As CMO, Suwarna will lead the central marketing department where he is responsible for the end-to-end marketing initiatives from market understanding, brand and marketing strategy formulation, marketing campaign execution and monitoring.
Meanwhile as Traveloka's CEO of Experience, he is currently responsible for leading strategic new business initiatives in Traveloka. They include end-to-end lifecycle management of a business starting from strategy formulation, product development, organisational build-up to results generation. Prior to Traveloka, he was with Boston Consulting Group and Apple.
Separately, Traveloka also saw Veriyanta Kusuma, who is head of community and social marketing, leave after two years to join TikTok to manage brand strategy duties.
