BBDO has announced its Australian agencies Clemenger BBDO, CHEP Network and Traffik will merge under a united Clemenger brand in March, led by Lee Leggett as chief executive officer.
The new agency hopes to deliver a more unified offering with brand creative, experience, digital, media and commerce under the one roof.
Clemenger BBDO CEO Dani Bassil has resigned after two years leading the agency. Leggett, current CEO of CHEP, will lead the merged agency group and described it as a modern agency brand.
“The need for smart, creative thinking remains more important than ever,” Leggett said. “We have created a bold offering with a clear purpose - deliver big and measurable ideas that define tomorrow.”
Clemenger Group CEO Les Timar said the new Clemenger combines bold thinking with precision execution for clients including Samsung, Asahi, Mars, Michael Hill, The University of Sydney and 7-Eleven.
“Our focus is to create ideas that embrace and define the future – in service of our clients, people and creativity. We are embracing strength and scale to create a truly game-changing agency that perfectly balances our integrated capabilities across performance, marketing and brand platform creativity," Timar said.
"This is not about doing more with less. This is about doing more with more.”
