Homegrown Singaporean furniture brand Castlery is marking its 10th year anniversary with the opening of a brand-new global office headquartered in Singapore.
The opening of its new 15,000 square foot office in MacPherson marks a significant milestone in the brand's journey after coming from a modest 900 square foot office basement in Ubi. The new office now houses the various departments within a single expansive space, fostering collaboration and integration to achieve greater efficiency and synergy across teams, it said in a statement.

The new global headquarters also reflects Castlery’s commitment to creating a conducive environment to nurture talent, developing a design-led, tech-enabled entrepreneurial ecosystem, and creating employment opportunities across Singapore, China, Australia, and the United States, it added.
To enhance the efficiency of its logistics operations, Castlery has also strategically established a network of eight distribution centres across four key locations – the United States, Australia, China, and Malaysia. These distribution centres collectively span 500,000 square feet, with six of them having been opened in the last two years.
In tandem, the brand also celebrated its 10th anniversary with the sale of its one millionth product to date. Castlery has also achieved a 10-time revenue growth since entering the US market in 2020 while doubling its staff strength over the past 24 months, it said.
“We are incredibly proud to mark this significant milestone of our 10th anniversary and to surpass the sale of our one-millionth product, crafting pieces that are part of our customers' everyday lives," said Declan Ee, the co-founder of Castlery.
"Year on year, we are seeing a large percentage of returning customers making repeated purchases as they celebrate significant milestones of their lives with Castlery. We are heartened to have left an indelible design mark in the homes of our customers and we remain committed to delivering accessible luxury to homeowners who seek exceptional furniture that elevates their living spaces,” he said.
Furniture brands have been working hard to establish a presence locally and in the region in recent times. Recently, IKEA Singapore celebrated its 45th anniversary in the country and in honor of its anniversary, launched an extra-long version of its iconic IKEA pencil as a nod to fans who have supported the brand over the many years.
“We thought it would be fun to create some nostalgia with the iconic IKEA pencil that we all know and love”, explained Asheen Naidu, the executive creative director at TBWA\Singapore who was the creative agency behind the concept. They were joined by media agency PhD Singapore.
