Carlsberg Singapore looks to usher prosperity with CNY campaign

Carlsberg Singapore has ushered in Chinese New Year with its campaign, “Prosperity Begins With A Pop”. The brand has also launched Chinese New Year edition cans with well-wishes such as Wealth (发), Good Luck (旺), Happiness (喜) and Prosperity (福). Carlsberg Singapore also unveils a slew of promotions, offering customers gifts and prizes. In a statement to Marketing, a Carlsberg spokesperson said that for this campaign, Carlsberg will employ both ATL and BTL advertisements. The ATL platforms include OOH bus stop ads, print as well as digital and social media. While, the BTL activities will focus on in-store displays and in-store roadshows. Geometry Malaysia handled the creative duties while, Initiative Singapore managed the campaign's media duties. “Chinese New Year is always a time where friends and family come together to have a good time of drinking and feasting as we start the brand new year. For 2019, Carlsberg would like to be part of the joyous celebration with every can of our auspicious Chinese New Year edition Carlsberg beer sat alongside the table of reunion. We wish everyone a prosperous Chinese New Year, with lots of good fortune and happiness ahead,” Olivier Dubost, general manager of Carlsberg Singapore said.
