Carlsberg Hong Kong has launched an alcohol-free beer "Carlsberg 0.0" to offer an alternative beverage for HongKongers to enjoy anywhere and anytime.

With innovative technology, the brand has retained the refreshment of the Carlsberg beer while crafting it to contain 0% alcohol, zero sugar and low calories, without compromising the savour and aroma of a full-strength beer. Carlsberg 0.0 acts as an alternative beverage for consumers to enjoy anywhere and anytime from casual, social settings to the workplace.

The alcohol-free beer is made from “alcohol evaporation”, an innovation that gently removes the alcohol to keep the full flavour of beer, which consumers can enjoy the beer for a full-rounded flavour and balanced bitterness and low in calories at the same time. The alcohol by volume (ABV) of the beverage is less than 0.05%, according to Carlsberg Hong Kong's official website.

MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached about to Carlsberg for further information.

Previously in November, Carlsberg recognised that its name might be challenging for some consumers to pronounce and instead of shying away from this challenge, it turned it into a campaign in Vietnam to build name recognition and give people the chance to sample their beer for the first time.

Back in 2020, Carlsberg Brewery Hong Kong (Carlsberg HK) has a launched a new eco-friendly campaign, headlined by the launch of a recycling machine for beer bottles.

The “Betterment Campaign” that has been launched with McCann Hong Kong (McCann) is aimed at targeting the weaknesses in the city’s approach to environmentalism, specifically recycling. According to the company’s findings, fewer than a third of glass bottles in Hong Kong are recycled.
