Carlsberg and Alfred Hui partner up to spread the 'smoothest' good vibes in HK

Carlsberg and Hong Kong singer Alfred Hui have come together for the third time to unveil a citywide brand campaign to celebrate the launch of its new product Carlsberg Smooth, along with a series of captivating promotions and events. 

Available from late July, the brand campaign kicked off with the introduction of the brand-new Carlsberg Smooth ad series featuring Hui, igniting a trend of pursuing an unparalleled "smooth" experience in the city.

Within the video ads, which are available on Hui's YouTube channel, Hui shared his gastronomic experience with Carlsberg Smooth and he will engage directly with fans in a dining experience event to spread the “smoothest” good vibes. He also got a chance to be the first one trying out the brand new "LimitedEdition Carlsberg Beer Foamer" , teaching everyone how to pour a nice smooth draught with creamy foam.

A check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE saw on YouTube that five videos have garnered 103K views in total, with many netizens saying that the collaboration was great and they looked forward to seeing more executions of the campaign.

The video ads will be rolled out on TVs, online channels and prominent outdoor billboards in Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui and Lan Kwai Fong, as well as on buses throughout the city.

In order to engage a wider audience, Carlsberg has launched a social giveaway in July and August to offer consumers a chance to win the "LimitedEdition Carlsberg Beer Foamer", tickets to the exclusive "Alfred's Smooth Dining Experience", and limited edition gifts from the "S2O Hong Kong Songkran Music Festival 2023”.

Furthermore, the “Carlsberg Food Festival” is making its return soon. In addition to the "Smooth Signature Dishes," the festival will also introduce smoothness challenges, bringing the "smoothest” good vibes to the city.
