Bulgari has gone big with its new ad campaign, bringing on board American actresses and brand ambassadors Zendaya and Anne Hathaway. Titled "Unexpected Wonders", the two-and-a-half-minute movie-like video features the two celebrities donning different Bulgari jewellery while admiring the jewels that are strewn around the estate they are in.
Where Hathaway plays the piano with the Bulgari jewellery latched onto her fingers, Zendaya prances around the mansion with the brand's necklaces laying on her neck. With a voiceover from Zendaya and Hathaway themselves, the film, which is set in Rome, makes multiple references to searching and discovering wonder, and the freedom this process entails.

The video was captioned: "Accept Rome’s heartwarming invitation and search for joy and wonder in every moment, gleaming beauty in the most surprising places — knowing that staying curious opens us up to an infinity of blissful opportunities."
The film is directed by Paolo Sorrentino, an Italian film director, screenwriter, and writer who has produced movies such as Il Divo, The Consequences of Love, The Family Friend, Youth, and The Hand of God, according to IMDb.
Bulgari has worked with other celebrities as brand ambassadors including Canadian actor Alexander Ludwig, who shot to fame with his role as Cato in The Hunger Games, The Hollywood Reporter said. The brand also appointed Indian actress and singer Priyanka Chopra Jonas as its brand ambassador last year and tapped on the Hallyu wave by bringing on board Korean girl group BLACKPINK's Lisa.
Bulgari called "Unexpected Wonders" a brand movie in its latest tweet and the luxury brand is not the first one to have a movie produced. In fact, Gucci made headlines last year when director Ridley Scott unveiled House of Gucci, an American biographical crime drama film featuring Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, and Jared Leto.
Additionally in 2018, Louis Vuitton worked with Hungarian film-maker duo VIVIENNE & TAMAS for a short film titled "Dear Louis". Starring London-based MMG model Marta Pawlowska, the film features her character as a retired influencer travelling on an ocean liner named "Queen Elizabeth 2", who is also secretly in love with one of the cabin crew, Louie. Throughout the film, she sports clothes from LOUIS VUITTON's Fall-Winter collection as she relaxes in the cabin and writes a letter to Louie.
