Brand Finance Asia Pacific picks insights director for PH market

Brand Finance Asia Pacific has appointed Gary de Ocampo as its insights director for the Philippines, according to a statement by the firm.
Ocampo has over 25 years of experience in various client service and leadership roles as managing director and president of TNS Philippines, and CEO and president of Kantar Philippines for seven years where he led the merger of TNS, Millward Brown, and Added Value.

It was during his stint that his former company became the dominant leader in the customised market research industry and the most profitable in their APAC cluster, said Brand Finance. Ocampo was also president of the marketing and opinion research society (MORES) in the Philippines in 2009.
In tandem, the firm has named Quyen Luong as its associate insights director and general manager for Vietnam.
Luong is a market researcher with over 12 years of experience in customer insights and retail measurement. As Vietnam’s associate insights director and general manager, she brings along with her in-depth industry knowledge in pharma, FMCG, retail, eCommerce, finance and automotive to her new role.
Before joining Brand Finance, Luong held senior managerial positions at NielsenIQ Vietnam, Kantar Malaysia, Techcombank and Cimigo Vietnam. She has worked with a mix of clients of global and Asian brands, from Nestlé and Mercedes to Vinamilk and ACB in Vietnam.
