BBDO has appointed Arthur Tsang as chief creative officer of BBDO China and global creative lead of its Mars China team.

Tsang has joined from Bartle Bogle Hegarty where he served as chief creative officer. Prior to that position, Tsang had worked for BBDO from 2010 to 2017 across offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Guangzhou.

Speaking of his appointment, Tsang said," The opportunity to take on a big brand for Mars at a global level was too significant to ignore. I hope this proves to be a turning point for China talent to stand up and influence the direction of large-scale global brands."

Possessing 18 years of experience in the creative industry, Tsang has worked with renowned clients including Mars-Wrigley, Mercedes Benz, Coca-Cola, Mengniu, and Unilever, to name a few. His previous time at BBDO included serving as executive creative director for teams in both BBDO South China and BBDO Hong Kong, and acting as chief creative office of BBDO Beijing.

“We are very happy and honoured to welcome Tsang back to the BBDO Family. He will be responsible for the Mars China team, BBDO South China business, and other key accounts. His return signals the agency’s commitment to providing clients the highest levels of creativity BBDO is known for," said Tan Tze Kiat, CEO of BBDO Greater China.
